Michael, a retired school teacher, is one of Holy Blossom's archivists. He has also served the congregation over the years as President of the Temple Brotherhood (our men's service organization), a shofar blower, a shiva reader, a member of the Board of Trustees, a Religious School teacher, and a 'tour leader' for visiting schools and inter-faith groups.
Howard, a retired lawyer, became interested in the Eisendrath sermons when he stumbled upon them while assisting in a clean up of an area of the Temple in which they had been stored and forgotten. Howard has been a President of the Temple Brotherhood, the Brotherhood webmaster, a member of the Temple Board, and he has served on various Temple committees over the years.
Most weeks we meet to read and analyze one of Rabbi Eisendrath's sermons. As we do so, we will be posting our observations to this blog.
